42 fresh cases take covid-19 tally to 496; 116 reported in last 4 days

Srinagar: In a biggest single-day jump, Kashmir Valley reported 42 fresh cases of novel coronavirus on Saturday, taking the overall COVID-19 tally to 496. 116 of these cases were reported in last four days alone.
Reports quoting officials said that 14 cases were confirmed at Viral Diagnostic Lab at SKIMS while 28 at Chest Disease Hospital Dalgate here.
Among the fresh cases include 23 from Anantnag, 7 from Bandipora, 5 from Srinagar, 3 each from Baramulla and Shopian while one from Kupwara.
With these fresh cases, the total number of cases has risen to 496 in Jammu and Kashmir. 6 of them have died including a 72-year old man from Tangmarg today. 109 cases have also recovered.
