5th Doctor Tests Positive For COVID-19 In J&K

Srinagar: A doctor was among those who tested positive for the coronavirus in Kashmir Valley on Tuesday.
Sources said that samples of the doctor, who works at Government Medical College Baramulla, and ten others returned positive. This is the first instance in Kashmir when a doctor has tested positive for the dreaded disease while at least four doctors earlier tested positive for the pestilence in Jammu.
The eleven fresh cases were confirmed at SKIMS and there more cases likely to surface as result details of CD hospital and others are awaited.
Meanwhile, sources said the while the doctors has been kept in isolation, his immediate contacts have been traced and put under quarantine at GMC Baramulla.
