Dir Industries, Jammu, Kashmir appointed Registrar of Firms, Societies

Jammu: The government today issued two orders under section 98 of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019, read with clause 17 of the Jammu and Kashmir Removal of Difficulties Order, 2019.
According to the first order, “Lieutenant Governor hereby directs that the Director, Industries and Commerce, Kashmir and Jammu appointed as “Registrar of Firms” under the Jammu and Kashmir Partnership Act, Svt. 1996 (repealed) shall be deemed to have been appointed under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932.”
According to the second order, “Lieutenant Governor hereby directs that the Director, Industries and Commerce, Kashmir and Jammu appointed as “Registrar of Societies” under the Jammu and Kashmir Societies Registration Act, 1998 (repealed) shall be deemed to have been appointed under the Societies Registration Act 1860.”
