J&K Bank conducts Financial Literacy Camp in Bishnah

Jammu: J&K Bank conducted a Financial Literacy Camp in Bishnah, Jammu to educate the people of the area regarding the various banking services and digital products offered by the bank. The camp was organized by the bank’s Business Unit Bishnah in coordination with the Business Acquisition and Digital Strategy Team, and Marketing Department of Zonal Office Jammu (Central I).
On the occasion, the officials from the Business Acquisition and Marketing Department informed the people about the benefits of social security schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY) besides delineating the claim processes. They educated the customers regarding the importance of seeding Aadhaar and mobile numbers with their respective saving bank accounts.
The team also spread awareness about various loan products offered by the bank such as Kisan Credit Card, tractor loan, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojna, car loan, education loan etc., having competitive interest rates and facilities like Easy Monthly Installments.
The officials from the Digital Strategy and Marketing department educated the gathering about the benefits of digital banking and cash less economy. They elaborated the government’s move from cash to less cash economy and enlightened them about new technologies available with the bank including Debit cards, Credit Cards, Net Banking, Mobile Banking Services, IMPS, BHIM UPI etc. The team also spread awareness regarding prevention of various frauds related to Digital Banking for conducting secure online transactions.
Pamphlets displaying interest rates on various loan schemes, and showcasing the digital products of the bank were also distributed among the gathering.
Thanking the participants for sparing their valuable time, Business Unit Head Bishnah, Sham Dass Sharma, concluded the camp by presenting a vote of thanks.
