‘Smart City’ In Pics: Of rains, waterlogged streets, submerged city centre roads and a failed SMC

 

City centre Lal Chowk was submerged following rainfall on Thursday.

 

Following rains, its a common scene in major parts of the city. People blame Government for faulty drainage system that never works.

 

People say if a drizzle can get roads, streets flooded, what would an incessant rains for days together cause?

“Will Government ever fix responsibility as to who plans those failures in the name of development,” complains like this were galore on Thursday as people traversed through knee deep waters.
