Sopore: Demanding justice and thorough probe into the mysterious death of a Sopore youth in a Srinagar hotel, family of the deceased on Thursday held protest demonstration in the area.

Relatives of the deceased, namely Abdul Rahim Marazi alias Gusha son of Ghulam Mohammad Marazi of Sofi Hamam assembled at Chankhan on Srinagar-Sopore highway and blocked traffic for sometime.

Marazi had left his home with his friends on last Saturday and had stayed a night in a local hotel in Srinagar, the family said, alleging that he was murdered there.

Meanwhile a team of police reached the spot and assured the protesters that case with regard to Marazi’s killing is registered in Police Station Maisuma and investigations are underway.
