Sumo plunges in gorge in Banihal, 3 dead, 4 injured

Srinagar: Three persons died while four other passengers were injured after a cab they were travelling in met with an accident near Ukhriyal-Senbhatti link road in Banihal area of Ramban district.

The vehicle skidded off the road and plunged  into a deep gorge resulting in injuries to seven passengers

All the injured were evacuated to nearby hospital where three of them were declared brought dead on arrival.

 

Deceased have been identified as:

1) Surjeet singh son of sant Ram age 50 years R/o Kote Ukhral, Pogal

2) Koshalia devi w/o surjeet R/o Kote Ukhral, Pogal

3) Neelam Devi age 20 years D/o Surjeet singh R/o Kote Ukhral, Pogal
