Police holds awareness programme about PMEPG  at DPL Kupwara

Kupwara: Dstrict police kupwara on Saturday held a day long employment generating programme for the kins and other family members of killed and retired  police personals in collaboration with khadi and village industries commision (KVIC) 
The programme was attended by a large number of gathering along with, high officials from KVIC and police officers including, DySP Hq Yasir Parrey, DySP DAR Javaid Ahmad,  SDPO Lolab Shahzad Ahmad and the programme was chaired by Senior Superintendent of police Kupwara Shriram Ambarkar.
Participants who attended the programme were enlightened about the schemes and programmes they can avail under KVIC to start their different  business hubs with their aid and proper assistance.
Speaking in the occasion SSP kupwara, Shriram Ambarkar highlighted the importance of organising such programes to facilitate the large number of people who can establish their business and explore to larger extend.
“It’s for the welfare of retired and  martyred police personals who have laid their lives on the line of duty,” Ambarkar said.
