Pulwama: Commuters in Nahir-Khasipora village of Pulwama district are complaining that public transport vanishes from roads in the evenings and vehicles begin plying on the route late in the mornings. They are demanding intervention from the district authorities.

Wajid Ahmad, a college student said that students have to face tough time daily as they are ‘always late for their classes owing to faulty public transport facility’.

“Only two to three sumo’s ply on the route in morning  and evening,” he said.

He added that lack of proper tata sumo service is forcing them to travel by foot through paddy fields

A group of locals told INS that they had raised the issue with Sumo Stand authorities many times but nothing has been done so far.
