Kupwara: Three government schools in Kupwara have been badly hit by staff crunch that has badly hit the academics of wards enrolled in the schools.
Official sources said that Primary School Gratnad, Middle School Bangla and Middle School Laddah are but few examples of the crisis in the education department.
“There are only three teachers for over 104 students at MS Bangla, only four teachers for over 150 students at Middle School Laddah and only Two teachers for over 55 students at primary school Gratnad,” he said.
“We have now deputed some staff on rationalization bases to ease the problems faced by students,” said Zonal Educational Officer Ghulam Ahmad.
