Girl found dead in an orchard in Qazigund, police launches investigation

Qazigund: An 18-year old girl was found dead in an orchard at Baapora area of Qazigund in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.

The body of the girl was found hanging in the orchard and locals immediately informed police station about it.

The deceased has been identified as Nazia Akhtar (18) Daughter of Mohammad Amin Shah of Baapora, Qazigund.

A case under section 174 CrPc has been registered and initiated further investigations into the incident, police official added.
