Girl jumps into river Jhelum in Pampore, body recovered

Pulwama: Body of the girl who reportedly jumped into river Jhelum in Pampora has been fished out on Friday afternoon.

According to reports the girl (identity withheld) had jumped into the water body after which locals rushed to retrieve her.

“Her body has been found,” locals claimed.

Sources said that the deceased girl is from Chandhara village of Pampore.

Police has registered the case and further investigation into the incident has been launched.
