Tral: The people of Panner Jageer village in South Kashmir’s Tral have expressed resentment against the non-functioning of Jio telecom mobile tower in the area.
A group of residents said that they are facing inconveniences in absence of mobile network connectivity in the area from a “long time now”.
They blame Jio Telecom Company for deliberately delaying the functioning of its services in the village despite repeated requests from the people to their company officials.
“Panner village is being ignored by telecom service providers. Even JIO Telecom Company which has installed their tower here has ignored our village by not making the tower functional,” a resident said.
The locals said that ‘installation of jio tower was a relief for people but it’s just symbolic tower now as it hasn’t been working from the day it was installed.”
The residents demanded the functioning of jio tower in the area as soon as possible to mitigate their problems.
