Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani was Friday disallowed to attend Urdu Book Fair funtion at Kashmir University.

Geelani was scheduled to attend Urdu Book fair function today, Hurriyat leader said.

Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (G) was invited by students of KU for the function while as he had accepted the invitation and was scheduled to leave for University today at 10 am.

However, authroties didn’t allow Geelanj to come out to reavh varsity, sources said.
