Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Thursday paid rich tributes to prominent Islamic scholar Qazi Nisar Ahmad on his 25th martyrdom anniversary, stating that the contribution of Qazi Nisar Ahmad on religious and social fronts can never be forgotten.
Praying Allah to grant Qazi Nisar Ahmad highest standards in Jannah, Mirwaiz said during the ongoing movement besides a large number of youth, people from other sections of society be it religious scholars, academicians or political leaders everyone rendered the sacrifice of his life to the dispute. “These sacrifices are precious assets of the movement,” he said.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Hurriyat Conference visited Islamabad and participated in the special prayers session held for Qazi Nisar Ahmad.
