Srinagar resident plays ‘key role’ in CarDekho’s surge

Srinagar: Online car platform CarDekho has elevated Mir Muzaffar U Zaman, a resident of Srinagar who formerly was Senior Vice-President of the company, to the position of Chief Operating Officer for the new auto business.
Zaman has played a vital role in the overall organization’s growth, according to a statement by the online car search platform for both new and used cars.
In his new role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in the new auto division, Zamaan is responsible for the current business strategy as well as the successful execution of the long-term growth plans to ensure the continued service of the customers in the best possible way, the statement said. “Mr. Muzaffar is already an old hand in the company and is well abreast with our vision and working culture. In his crucial leadership role, he will provide impetus to our growth story,” statement added.
CarDekho, owned by Girnar Software Pvt. Ltd, was launched in 2008. It serves as an online car search platform for both new and used cars and offers expert reviews and price comparisons. The Jaipur-based company partners with car makers, dealers and financial institutions to facilitate vehicle purchases.
