Shepherds, 500 sheep rescued from Nallah Badipora in Budgam

Budgam: Police and locals have launched a rescue operations to retrieve shepherds and the sheep flocks with them who are stuck in Nallah Badipora of Chadoora area in Budgam district.

“Due to heavy rains, a group of shepherds and around 500 sheeps were trapped in nallah,” an official said.

SHO Chadoora Mr Mehboob along with his team reached the spot and started the rescue operation.
Locals joined hands with police and a makeshift bridge was constructed.

All the shepherds along with the sheeps were rescued from the rising waters and a major tragedy was prevented.
