Ganderbal:  A nomad was killed and two other injured after Deodar tree fell on their tent during nighthours in Ramwari Gund area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

An official said that the nomad was  identified as Mohammed Yousuf Batugad, 42, son of Abdul Gani Batugad, resident of Rajouri.

He died on the spot, an official said.

SHO Gund Tariq Yousuf said that during night strong winds swept at Ramwari forest area causing the incident .

The injured have been identified as Abdul Lateef Batugad and Ghulam Haider Batugad Resident of Rajouri and was shifted to Primary Health center Gund where doctor referred to Bone and joints hospital srinagar for further treatment.

24 RR, Police and 118 BN CRPF jointly retrieved the body and injured while no official from civil administration or revenue department was part of the operation.
