Open to scrutiny, hold no regrets: Former J&K Bank chairman Parvez Ahmad

Srinagar: Following his unceremonious exit from Jammu and Kashmir Bank, former CEO J&K Bank Parvez Ahmad said that he is open to any scrutiny.

Parvez was on Saturday removed as the CEO and Chairman of the bank by the government and appointed RK Chibber as an interim chairman.

“Absolutely no regrets.Did my job most diligently, honestly and in the best interest of the institution. Open to scrutiny on each and every transaction I have done during my two decades of functioning in the bank, ” Parvez tweeted.

State Vigilance raided the bank HQ hours after Parvez was removed.

Sleuths of VO raided the premises and police closed the building as searches were being conducted.
