Srinagar: Police have arrested a Dhaba Owner and seized 2.5 kilograms of Fukki (a narcotic substance) from him in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday.
A police officer said that acting on a specific information, a police party headed by station house officer Ganderbal Salfi Arshid in presence of a magistrate raided one dhaba (roadside restaurant) at Wayil bypass area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday.
While searching it, the police officer said, 2.5 kgs of ‘Fukki’ was recovered from the possession of Dhaba owner Mohammad Maqbool Bhat son of Habibullah Bhat resident of Manigam Ganderbal.
He said that the accused person was arrested and dried fukki seized on the spot.
A case FIR No. 111/2019 Under section 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered in police station Ganderbal and investigation is taken up, he added.
