Pulwama: Subscribers of BSNL are facing inconvenience as the optical fibre (OF) of BSNL Broadband, landline has developed a cut in Awantipora area of South Kashmir.

Officials confirmed to INS that the the damage took place four days back but is yet to be repaired.

“No calls can be made, and internet too is off,” subscribers said, adding that the broad band services too has been badly hit leading to problems in business transactions to many.

They appealed authorities to look into the matter and as to why the BSNL has not undertaken restoration of OF despite damages.
