Srinagar: A 40-year-old man was seriously injured when a bear attacked him in a forest near Hayan Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday.
As per police officials, the bear attacked Nazir Ahmad Gojar son of Abdul Rashid Gojar, a resident of Hayan Palpora when he was grazing cattle in the nearby forests.
He was rescued by locals and immediately shifted to sub district hospital Kangan where from he was shifted to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.
