Advisor Kumar visits TRC, inspects quality of food being served to employees

SRINAGAR, MAY 17: Advisor to Governor, K Vijay Kumar today visited Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) Srinagar and inspected the facilities being provided to the Darbar Move employees who are staying there.

MD JKTDC Asif Hameed Khan and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.

The Advisor while inspecting the facilities at TRC visited kitchen and dining area. He interacted with the kitchen staff and enquired about the food that is being served to the employees staying there.

He also visited the dining area and personally checked the quality of food being prepared by them.

MD JKTDC informed the Advisor about the facilities which are available for the move employees including both boarding and lodging arrangements. He also apprised him about the available infrastructure at TRC.

The Advisor while interacting with the officers and staff, stressed for serving quality food to the employees throughout their stay and to maintain hygiene, cleanliness in both kitchen and dining area.

Speaking on the occasion, he also directed Estate department, MD JKTDC and Food Authorities to conduct regular inspection of quality of food being served to the employees at all the facilities where ever the employees are staying by senior officers.
