Ganderbal: A complete shutdown is being observed in Chanduna town of Ganderbal district on Monday, marking the first death anniversary of Assistant Professor-tuned militant .
Mohammad Rafiq Bhat (33), Assistant Professor, Sociology, Kashmir University (KU), lived as a militant for only 40-hours and was killed along with four associates in Shopian’s Badigam village on this day last year.
According to reports all the shops, business establishments are closed in the area while traffic is off the roads.
