Leh: A team led by Chairman Health and Hygiene Council of Private Schools’ Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK), Rahi Riyaz Ahmed visited Leh and held detailed discussion with the management bodies of different Private Schools in the district.

The team suggested the local schools managements to constitute their District Body in accordance with the Articles of PSAJK. Rahi said that this will help the district schools to have a joint platform to project their problems and highlight their achievements before the Leh Development Council and the State Government. “This will enable the schools to solve their problems and remove bottlenecks coming in the way of smooth functionings of Private Schools,” said Rahi.

The team also discussed various initiatives and collaborations which can be undertaken between the two sides for mutual benefit. The school management described the working of schools in the schools in the district and how many schools have benefited from international collaboration and by adopting new teaching methodology.

The team suggested the local school management bodies to make a liaison with PSAJK headed by G N Var so that the problems and the achievements can be shared with each other. “With hundreds of schools from Kashmir, Jammu, Pir Panchal and Chenab region, the addition of schools from Ladakh region into the platform will further strengthen the voice of private schools,” said Rahi. “In this way we can work efficiently to solve our problems and also provide quality education to every nook and corner of the state.”
