Pulwama: Unknown persons on Monday hurled a grenade at a polling booth in Pulwama district of south Kashmir, officials said. There was no damage caused by the explosion.

The device was hurled on the polling booth stationed inside government girls’ middle school Rahmoo which exploded in the compound, they said.

A police officer said that while a blast like sound was heard, the investigations are underway in this regard.
