Jammu: District Magistrate Poonch on Thursday ordered closure of schools in Kerni sector in Poonch following cross LOC exchange of gunfire between India and Pakistan armies erupted.

According to officials DM Poonch ordered that  that all Schools of Kerni Sector are hereby closed today on due to crossborder shelling.
Exchange of gunfire between the two sides erupted in Shahpur & kirni Sectors in District Poonch(J&K) at about 0930 hours.
