Srinagar-Leh highway re-opens after 5 months’ closure

Ganderbal: The 434-kms long Srinagar-Leh highway, connecting Ladakh with the rest of Jammu and Kashmir, was officially re-opened for traffic on Sunday.
The over passes through the Zojila Pass which remains annually closed during winter months as it receives heavy snowfall. All essential supplies to Leh and Kargil districts are routed through this highway.
