Jeddah: Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen received here on Sunday Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Khan Hasham Bin Saddique, who handed to the OIC chief his credentials as Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the OIC.
Secretary General Al-Othaimeen and Ambassador Saddique also reviewed the ongoing preparations for the upcoming meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) scheduled to take place in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, next month.
The two sides urged for constructive deliberations with a view to produce action-oriented results. They also discussed a wide range of issues of mutual concern and the means of enhancing OIC-Pakistan bilateral relations.
During the meeting, the secretary general restated the importance of Pakistan as an important partner on the OIC’s various activities and efforts.
For his part, the ambassador expressed the appreciation of his government for the efforts of the OIC chief in supporting the interest of Pakistan and assured him of the continued support of Pakistan to the agendas of the Organization.
