Pulwama: A Pulwama youth has been conferred with  Swami Vivekananda Excellence Award at Kolkatta.

Naveed Hamid, from Prichoo area of the district is working in Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, New Delhi.

Naveed Hamid received the award during a Confrence held at Amity University Kolkatta by the hands of Governer of Wast Bengal “Shri Keshari Nath Tripathi”
He was awarded for his significant research contribution in the field of agribusiness, value chain for enhancement of profitability for small and marginal farmers of J&K state.

Earlier, the Naveed Hamid also received IARDO Young Fellow award 2019 during the International Award Conference on Research, Analyze, Communicate and Evaluate (RACE – 2019) held at KU, University Campus Bangkok, Thailand.
