Ganderbal: Road to the famous tourist destination Sonamarg in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district is yet to be opened for traffic.

“People  including commuters, tourists and hoteliers are facing tremendous hardships,” residents claimed.

They blamed district administration for unnecessary delay in opening the road..

DDC Ganderbal Hashmat Ali Khan told INS that the Ganderbal-Ladakh national highway upto Sonamarg will open soon.

“The road will be opened for public on 15th of April,” Khan said.
