Principal Secretary Technical Education meets Governor

Jammu: Raj Kumar Goyal, Principal Secretary Technical Education, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here on Thursday.
Goyal briefed Governor about the functioning of Technical Education system and various initiatives taken by the department for promoting the academic interests of the students.
Governor observed that the Technical Education Department should ensure the provision of quality educational facilities for students at all levels so that they can develop advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in skilled trades, modern technologies and career preparation.
Goyal, who is also holding the Additional charge of Principal Secretary, Floriculture, Parks & Gardens and Information Department, apprised the Governor about several important administrative issues pertaining to the concerned departments.
