LS Polls: 32 Third Genders exercise franchise till 5 pm

Srinagar: 32 Third gendors cast their vote in the polling for Baramulla parliamentary constituency till 5 pm on Thursday. The overall poll percentage was 32.41 and total of 425316 votes of 1312148 were cast.
According to officials 8 third gendor’s exercised their franchise in Kupwara highest in the norhtern belt were polling was held.
Kupwara was followed by Sonawari in Bandipora with 7 third genders cast votes.
“5 Third Genders cast vote in Sangrama. In Rafiabad, Baramulla, Gulmarg, Pattan, Lolab 2 Third Genders cast vote respectively,” they said.
In langate and Sopore, one Third Gender cast vote respectively till 5 pm.
The total poll percentage in the Baramulla parliamentary seat was 32.41 pc.
In district Baramulla the poll percentage was 22, for district Kupwara it was 47.72 and in Bandipora it was 30.08.
