Valley wide shutdown tomorrow, in respective area on polling days: JRL

Srinagar: Joint Resistance leadership has called for a complete valley shutdown on April 11 against commencing of Parliamentary polls in the state of J&K and against ‘highhandedness of forces’ including NIA raids.

According to JRL statement Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik have called for a valley wide shutdown on April 11.

Shutdown should be observed in areas on respective days when polling takes place, JRL said.

They said on April 18 Srinagar,  budgam, Ganderbal, while as on April 23 islamabad, and on April 29 Islamabad, Kulgam should observe shutdown.

On May 6, Shopian, pulwama, islamabad should observe shutdown and stay away from polls, JRL statement said.
