Tangmarg has great tourism potential: Farooq Shah, urges people to vote for NC

Tangmarg: Stating that Darakashi, Badrekoot, Gogaldara belt of Tangmarg Constituency would be developed as a major rural tourist circuit, National Conference leader Farooq Ahmad Shah Tuesday said that a large population of the belt have a huge scope of Tourism development which can help the locals earn the livelihood and create job opportunities .
He said tourism has been the backbone of local economy but majority of the areas have been unfortunately ignored by the rulers of this area from last 16 years. Shah during his visit to these areas said that a major drive to boost tourism would be launched soon after Omar Abdullah comes to power.
While urging the locals to vote for National Conference on Thursday in Parliament elections, the former bureaucrat said that this is a very crucial time for Kashmir and people must be conscious of the choice they make on the polling day. He elaborated that vote for National Conference would ensure the development and progress of the state. He appealed people of the Tangmarg constituency to come out in large numbers on Thursday and vote for NC Candidate so that a genuine voice is sent to New Delhi to represent the Kashmiris there.
Later Shah visited Gogaldara, badrekoot, Ringawari, Nambalnar, lalpora,Alpathri,Reshwari ,Chachilora etc.
