Highway ban: Court issues notice to government, puts up matter for orders on Wednesday

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir High Court on Monday issued notice to Government for filing of responses following court accepted the PIL against the order.

The court has puts up the matter for orders on Wednesday.

The PIL was filed by Shah Faesal and sought quashment of order restricting people from using highway for two days a week till May ending.

The PIL was listed today before Division Bench of Hon’ble Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Tashi Rabstan, who issued the notice to the government.

“The case will be argued tomorrow,” tweeted Shah Faesal.
