Srinagar: Police on Monday claimed to have arrested the accused behind the car blast that occurred on Saturday last week at Srinagar-Jammu highway  at Tethar, around seven kilometres from the Banihal town.

According to reports, quoting police sources,  the suspect was behind the abortive attempt to target CRPF convoy with car bomb.

Police had claimed that some suspicious items were recovered that could be used in manufacturing explosives.
