Srinagar: A day after a sub-inspector of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) ended life in Baramulla district of north Kashmir, a trooper of the paramilitary force took the extreme step by shooting himself here on Sunday.
Official sources said Constable Ramphul Meena of ITBP’s 11 battalion shot himself with his service rifle (INSAS) at a camp near Sericulture Office Solina in this summer capital of the state.
