Shopian: Clashes erupted in Main Town Shopian amid spontaneous shutdown after three local militants were killed  in a gunfight in Keller area of the district on Thursday. 

Shutdown is being observed in Pulwama as well.

According to eyewitnesses as the news of three local militants two among the dead are from Pulwama while one is from Shopian, youth took to streets and clashed with forces deployed in the area.

Three militants were killed in the gunfight between militants and government forces in Keller area of Shopian district on Thursday.

Officials are yet to declare the identity of the slain militants.
