Snow slide kills 40 sheeps, two horses in Gujarpati Kupwara

Kupwara: Over 40 sheep and two horses were killed after a snow slide hit a cowshed at Gujarpati Zurhama in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday morning.

 A cowshed of Mohammad Ismail Khatana, was completely destroyed after it came under a massive snow slide.
The livestock is the only source of income for Khatana family, locals said.
The residents have urged the administration to send a team to the spot of occurrence.
“Please provide assistance to Ismail who has lost all of his earning of years,” locals claimed.
