An IUST official said that the authorities have decided to suspend all the examination for tomorrow and fresh dates will be notified separately.

The development comes in wake of the alleged custodial killing of Rizwan Asad Pandit, a guest lecturer at the varsity.

Rizwan was arrested and later died in the police custody.

While government has launched inquiry into the circumstances of Rizwan’s death, his family has said that his body bore marks of extreme torture.
