Sopore: A civilian received bullet injuries during clashes in Main Town Sopore on Thursday. He has been shifted to Srinagar for advanced treatment.

Officials identified the injured youth as Muzaffar Ahmad Khan from Chakrode Khan area.

“He has been shifted to SMHS Srinagar for advanced treatment. He has bullet injuries in leg and hand,” officials told INS.

Massive clashes erupted in Sopore following a grenade attack on CRPF near SBI Bank in Main Town Sopore.

Locals said that the area is filled with tear gas as protesters engaged forces in pitched battle.
