Jammu: A CRPF personnel shoot himself after killing three of his colleagues at a camp of paramilitary forces in Udhampur district of Jammu late on Wednesday.
The incident took place inside CRPF camp of 187 battalion at Battal area of Udhampur, Station House Officer (SHO) Udhampur Vijay Singh Choudhary said.
“One of the CRPF man Ajit Kumar shoot at his colleagues, injuring three of them seriously who later succumbed on the way to hospital,” he said. Kumar also shoot himself and has been hospitalized.
Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police (IGP) range Jammu, MK Sinha police has taken up the investigations and further details of the incident are being ascertained.
