Pulwama: Administration in Pampore launched a massive demolition drive against unauthorized and illegal constructions in Letribal area of the town.
Officials said that the drive was headed by the Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohidin, accompanied by the officials of Municipal committee Pampore, police and other concerned departments.
The drive was carried out on Friday after INS published a news story on Thursday evening regarding “illegal constructions by some land mafias” at Letribal area of Pampore, near HP gas turbine plant.
Sources said that action has been initiated against the offenders who have raised illegal constructions and encroachments.
