Jammu: A non local was mowed down by a speedy car in Kathua district of Jammu division of the state. 

According to officials the deceased is from Madhya Pradesh and the incident took place on Jammu-Pathankot highway.
The accused in the hit and run case has been arrested and car traced .
The deceased has been identified as Ramu, 24.
“The driver of the vehicle, Amit Gupta of the Channi Himmat area of Jammu, was arrested and vehicle seized,” police said.
