Anantnag:- Shortlisted candidates for the post of sub inspector in executive , armed and telecommunication wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police have urged Home Secretary Home to reply to High Court ending stalemate of their joining the department.

The candidates were selected for, December 2016 PHQ notified recruitment under Transparent Recruitment Process (TRP).
“We request Principal Secretary Home department to send the reply to Hon’ble High Court for perusal as soon as possible to end the dilemma of the selected candidates,” they told INS.

The shortlisted candidates also urged Governor to intervene into the matter to expedite the process.
“We have completed all of our formalities like document verification, CID verification and Medical test,” they said.
They claimed that they have been told that Kashmir based selected Candidates are not the party to the case, so are not allowed to take part in the court process.
“Keeping in view all these things, we expect that our joining be done quick on priority basis,” the candidates said.
According to them the final selection list of sub-inspectors was declared on Dec13, 2018 and since then the formal appointment orders have not been issued in favor of the selected candidates.
“Since the matter is subjudice, it’s won’t be right on our part to comment on the grounds on which Honorable High court has accepted their petition . But we would definitely want to put it on record for the larger good that it is absolutely a case people wanting the process delayed and halted . So much so , that when the said petitioners weren’t able to get a successful outcome while undergoing the whole selection process, decided to find faults in it,” they claimed.

They claimed that allegations of mass copying were peddled in public domain after declaration of shortlist list three months later.
