Banihal: Srinagar-Jammu has been closed for traffic as massive landslide sweeped on road at Kharpora Banihal in Ramban district on Monday.

Officials told INS that men and machinery have been deputed to the spot for road clearance.

They said that the vehicular movement over the strategic highway has been halted which was moving towards winter capital Jammu.

“One-way traffic from Srinagar to Jammu will be allowed only after the landslide is cleared,” he said.
