Non-military strike on JeM camp in Pakistan achieved its objective: MEA

New Delhi: Ministry of External Affairs on Saturday said that the non-military counter-terrorism strike in Pakistan la has achieved the desired objective.
“It has demonstrated our firm resolve to take decisive action against cross border terrorism,” Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said.
“Our non-military counter-terrorism strike achieved the desired objective.”
Kumar was addressing a media briefing in New Delhi.
India and Pakistan came close to war after a Pulwama youth blew himself up inside a CRPF convoy killing more than 40 soldiers.
India launched air strikes on Jaish e Muhammad camp inside Pakistani territory.
Pakistan retailated to the air strike that led to a dog fight in which an Indian fighter plane was shot down.
The caputured, Indian pilot was returned that de escalated the tensions between the two arch rival nuclear armed neighbours.
