Srinagar: In view of the strike called by transporters and traders, students of Kashmir University on Monday urged authorities to postpone exams scheduled or tomorrow.

The traders and transporters bodies called for complete shutdown against ban on Jama’at–Islami and “assault” on Article 35A.

“There is every likelihood that transport will not be available and as such we will be put to lot of trouble if exams are not postponed,” a group of students said and urged authorities to postpone the exam scheduled on tomorrow. “There is possibility that there might be some law and order issue and as such the authorities should also consider it and postpone the examinations.”
