Budgam Soldier Safe: Army, Police Reject Reports Of Abduction

Srinagar: Police and army have clarified that the soldier from central Kashmir’s Budgam district, earlier reported to have been abducted, was safe in his unit.
“Clarification. Media reports of abduction of a serving army soldier on leave from qazipora Chadoora Budgam are incorrect. Individuals is safe. Specaulations have please be avoided,” a defence ministry spokesman said.
“Rfn Yaseen Bhat resident of Qazipora Budgam, is safe in his unit. Media is requested not to speculate. Further details shall follow,” SSP Budgam said.
